Ferrets Anonymous (FA) is a not-for-profit organization of ferret clubs, as well as ferret enthusiasts throughout the state of California. California is a state where domestic ferrets are currently banned to possess as pets without the proper (and difficult to obtain) permits from the California Department of Fish & Game. FA is dedicated to promoting the legalization of domestic ferrets in the state of California and to assist those threatened by the ban on domestic ferrets. Additionally, FA works to educate its members and the general public about the truths about domestic ferret ownership and care, in preparation for the eventual legalization of domestic ferrets in California.
